The Research unit
The main task of the Research unit is to advise our Group clients Munich Re and ERGO and institutional investors from outside the Group on how to invest their money across all asset classes. Our responsibilities stretch from strategic to tactical asset allocation, macro-economic analyses and capital market forecasts, and are rounded off by our development of quantitative models and strategies.
Our macro-research constructs models of and forecasts the macro-economic environment for the top-down approach of the MEAG investment process, and enables us to make recommendations on the relative attractiveness of the asset classes Bonds, Cash, Real Estate, Equities and Commodities.
Our quantitative research develops capital preservation concepts, supports and designs quantitative trading strategies and helps with selected capital market forecasts.
In this varied field of work, you can experience true team spirit and benefit from your talent with numbers.
